Telecom Gas Monitors 2350/2360

Telecom Gas Monitors 2350/2360

Sierra Monitor’s Telecom Gas Monitors 2350/2360 both continuously monitor for the presence of Carbon Monoxide (CO), but the Model 2360 also monitors for combustible gases. These hazardous gases are monitored in confined spaces in telecom sites, such as utility enclosures, to reduce the hazard of gas explosion and to maintain personnel safety.

Found primarily in Walk-In Cabinets, the 2350 and 2360 Models operate on -48 VDC power typically used in telephone company applications. They include both audible and visual alarm indication and are mounted on a plate designed for installation in a customer supplied 3-gang switch box.

When a hazardous gas is detected, the audible alarm will sound a continuous tone of 68 dB at 2900 Hz whenever the hazardous gas concentration exceeds their calibration levels.
