Factory Mutual Approval

Recognized and respected across the globe, FM Approvals certification assures customers a product or service has been objectively tested and conforms to the highest national and international standards. There are two categories of FM Approval Product Certification that pertain to Sierra Monitor products; hazardous location certification, and fire detection and signalling certifcation.

FM Approvals tests and Approves electrical equipment in hazardous locations in accordance with Approval Standards and/or American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards. FM Approvals is the only laboratory in North America that provides certification for fire detection and signaling devices.
