Electronic Engineer
Electronic engineer required for managing new product designs. Products are gas detection instruments that detect, measure, and alarm dangerous gasses, small HVAC control systems and communications modules (RS232, Ethernet and other).
Skills and demonstrated experience in the following fields is critical:
- Project management
- Instrumentation (knowledge of Op-amps, instrumentation amplifiers, A/D converters etc)
- Practical problem solving (ground loops, optical isolation, RFI mitigation)
- Embedded C programming and system design (PIC, AVR, ARM, UARTSs, timers, I2C)
- Good verbal and written communications
- Industrial systems, (PID control, 4-20mA, explosion proof, intrinsic safety)
- Basic PLC programming
- Basic knowledge of PLM systems and processes (BOMs, ECRs, MRP systems)
- ISO 9001 processes
Strengths in any of the following fields would be beneficial:
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Version control systems
- Microsoft Project
- HVAC control systems
- Experience with CE, UL, Atex, CUL, FCC approval processes
- Industrial communications (Modbus, Profibus, Lonworks etc)
